There are lots of fun scenarios and mini games to enjoy that add to the main story, some of which include situations where players get to play as Princess Peach herself. Furthermore, by equipping Mario with all sorts of badges, which is a fun system unique to this game, players get to make their own version of what they consider to be the "strongest possible Mario"

For example, you'll find both allies and enemies within the well-known "Koopa Troopa" family, and leveraging their unique traits adds an even higher sense of excitement throughout the game. Not to mention, plenty of new characters will make their debut. Of particular note are the Chapter Bosses, which have unique battle strategies and are sure to be a thorn on Mario's side.
